MSG is a monstrous health problem that has been allowed to fester for way too long. Scientific research by the top scientists and medical doctors in their fields such as neurology, endocrinology, reproduction, emotional, sexual and sleep disorders, just to name a few, have sounded the alarm and nothing seems to be correcting this catastrophe that has come upon our unsuspecting nation and in fact, the world.
All of you have eaten chips in restaurants and even children are given small bags of them to take to school in their lunches. If they are fried in vegetable oil that contains MSG, most have acrylamides, a very toxic substance formed when heating certain foods that break down as ammonia, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, among other chemicals and toxins. It has been shown that MSG and acrylamides which are present in tobacco smoke, are a precursor to a host of diseases, and among them cancer.
Junk carbohydrates seem to be a favorite of the food industry to incorporate these toxins that come off the shelves in grocery stores in bottles, bags and cans. Two of the worst of these good tasting poisons are MSG and Aspartame. Above 86 degrees, aspartame breaks down into formaldehyde, wood alcohol and aspartic acid. This excitotoxin is found in almost all diet and sugar free items The sad thing is the build up of aspartame is accumulative and has to be detoxed out of the body. I will discuss aspartame and diabetes at a later date.
You ask how do these cause obesity? These are known as excitotoxins, as they overexcite receptor neurons, which tell the body that you are full, and open the calcium channels in the neuron, keeping them open for a long period of time so that your brain is telling you that you are hungry even after eating. The result is that neurons are exploded and killed giving way eventually to the dementia and other memory robbing diseases prematurely. See autism causes.
The hypothalamus in the brain is affected by lesions that result in obesity as well as sexual reproduction problems. Dr. Russell L. Blaylock MD, from Jackson Mississippi, who as a top U.S. neurologist and scientist, has done thousands of autopsies and has discovered the effects of MSG on babies and children. He was instrumental in getting MSG removed from baby foods, but with the introduction of the junk protein soy and hydrogenated soy oil into products like mayonnaise for instance into the U.S. diet, it is right back again. Soy is in almost 75% of processed foods today and MSG is added as an addictive element.
Blalock has also indicated that MSG caused obesity does not appear to depend on food intake. That's why diets are not working in this widespread food arena.
Another severe concern of mine and yours is that the Truth in Labeling Act is lax on the pseudonyms of MSG. Why are they looking the other way? It can be called a number of things unknown to the nonsuspecting public and legally so according to the FDA. Some associated names of MSG are monopotassium glutamate, glutamate, glutamic acid, gelatin, calcium caseinate, textured protein, hydrolyzed, hydrogenated, yeast food, autolyzed yeast, yeast extract, and yeast nutrient just to name a few. Labels listing 'natural', 'flavors', 'seasonings', boullion, protein, pectin, and the list goes on, may also mean MSG is present.
I'm not finished yet. When you ingest these excitotoxins like aspartame and MSG, additionally you cause the body to become less oxygenated giving you an acidic environment for bad bacteria, parasites and other nasty critters to thrive on and ultimately cause cancer. Antibiotics further kill good flora and thus starts the downward spiral. After antibiotics, one must always take non sweetened yogurt and acidophilus to restore the good bacteria that keeps you healthy.
So my friends, if you are obese and you eat in restaurants and shop regularly out of the middle isles of the grocery store and have tried all the diets, but they have not worked, your most likely problem is accumulation of toxins that need to be chelated out. Most of the obesity can be overcome by eating greens, like spinach, broccoli, green beans, collard greens, romaine lettuce, and salads with lots of fiber to help the body carry these out of the colon. Don't laugh at the colon cleansing process. It is your first way back to health along with good exercise and a fitness program. Bypass this step and you will be wasting your time and I'll tell you why.
If you have been eating processed foods and taken pharmaceutical products for years and have not removed it with a cleanse, you most likely will have a built up residue of a hard rubber substance covering the inside lining your small intestines and possibly the large as well. Your body does not get the nutrients you need and you keep getting more acidic and sick often. A multitude of problems follow and if not removed, will ultimately cause death. Usually, you do not have to cut them out with surgery. In most cases a three month cleanse will do the trick. If you are extremely obese, you will have to do this for longer periods, but you can prevail. It will take a life changing selection of foods you eat, but the changes can be quite pleasant if you try good nutrition that has not been 'fixed' by food additives.
One would also wonder about the food industry and why this is allowed to happen at our expense. If you question this long enough you can see a conspiracy forming. It's almost as if the pharmaceuticals, the food industry, the FDA, and the big owners behind the scenes are of one accord. We'll talk about that in another article or book. There is so much more we need to know!
Last, but not least, we need to exercise daily and have some good body motion that speeds the food and nutrients to our cells throughout our body to be able to chelate the toxins naturally. Once you have a program in place there are methods to shed pounds quickly, but you have to seriously cut back that sugar intake. Your love of sugar is part of the glycemic problem which we have already covered!
